Salt
Lake City, January 4 Senior Vice President of Basketball Operations,
Kevin OConnor, announced today that the Utah Jazz have assigned C.J. Miles
to the Albuquerque Thunderbirds of the NBA Development League.
Miles,
a 6-6 guard out of Skyline High School (Dallas, Texas), has seen action in 10
games for the Utah Jazz, averaging 3.0 points and 1.9 rebounds in 9.3 minutes
per game. He has been on the on the inactive list for the past seven games.
We feel that right now the best way to further C.J.s development
is to send him to Albuquerque where he can get more experience in an actual game
setting, said OConnor.

in the second round (34th pick overall) of the 2005 NBA Draft, Miles averaged
23.5 points while collecting 10 rebounds per game as a senior. Named to the PARADE
